Victorian Scottish agate 15ct gold dirk and shield brooch circa 1870. Scottish Jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria after it became a souvenir of her trips north of the border. This brooch has a lovely variation of agates and details on the top of the dirk (dirk is a long bladed dagger) 

Measurements: 3 3/8” long by 1 2/8” wide
