A pair of red Vauxhall glass butterfly brooches. These brooches are a rare find, they are so full of character they look as though they are about to take flight. Vauxhall Glass was a type of gem substitute that was very popular in the Victorian Era and named after the factory that made them. Circa 1870

CONDITION: Very Good, slight discolouration on the tips of the wings that are only noticeable up-close
