A carved rock crystal Figa pendant mounted in 15ct gold. Featuring a polished rock crystal hand-shaped Figa. The Figa hand - depicting a clenched fist with the thumb placed between the fingers - is an ancient protective symbol with roots in Mediterranean and European folklore. Traditionally worn as a talisman against the evil eye and bad luck, Figa charms were believed to offer protection and good fortune to the wearer. Circa 1900.
