An early Georgian gold and black enamel Mourning ring inscribed 'Sr G Heathcote Bar ob 25 Jan 1732 aet 81', with a makers mark "CG". The ring features diamond shaped gold leaves all the way around the band with a central skull motif. The enamel is in reasonable condition for its age but there are chips visible with a loupe all the way around the band.
