Victorian Owl Bangle

A charming Victorian silver cuff bangle, decorated with an owl on a branch under the moon in yellow and rose gold overlay. The contrast of the gold tones against the silver gives the design nice depth and detail. The reverse has a plain section with an engraved inscription: "On her marriage from her sister 1882". Owls were a popular motif in Victorian jewellery, often symbolising wisdom and protection, making this a fitting sentimental gift for a wedding.
