A family Affair
Charlotte Sayers is a family-run business founded by Charlotte, whose passion for antique jewellery has shaped the company from the very beginning. With an eye for detail and a love of antique craftsmanship, she has spent years sourcing unique pieces with history and character.
Her daughter, Georgia, grew up surrounded by this love for antiques and went on to launch the Charlotte Sayers online store, bringing their family’s collection and expertise to a wider audience.
Together, Charlotte and Georgia combine a deep knowledge of antiques with a fresh, modern approach, helping others discover timeless jewellery to treasure and enjoy.
The Flagship Store
In 1990 Charlotte Sayers moved to Grays Antique Market, near Bond Street in London. Grays is a renowned destination for antique and vintage jewellery, art, and collectibles, bringing together trusted dealers and timeless pieces under one roof. Initially we had a miniature stand by the back stairs which only one of us could fit into at once! Gradually we were able to move to a better position and now Michele Rowan and Charlotte share a shop right at the entrance of the arcade.
Experience & Qualifications
Charlotte hold's the FGA qualification. She studied at the DGA course (but never got round to taking the exam!) Benefitting from years of experience in the trade. Including a membership to the Society of Jewellery Historians and LAPADA. Charlotte has vetted the antique fairs for LAPADA and is also a member of the Treasury Vetting Committee at the British Museum.
Georgia began her career in property development and marketing before realising her dream of joining her mother, Charlotte, during the lockdown era. She holds the Gem-A Level 4 Certificate in Gemmology and has a genuine passion for customer service, sourcing exceptional antique and vintage jewellery, and carrying the Charlotte Sayers brand forward in the digital age.

All our pieces are guaranteed genuine and we don’t sell reproductions. If there is any dispute over a piece we would rather have it returned than any disagreement, obviously with the usual reservations.
