Edwardian Natural Pearl and Diamond Pendant Necklace

A very pretty Edwardian natural pearl and diamond pendant necklace, dating to circa 1900–1910, finely crafted in platinum and 18ct gold. The necklace is designed with a delicate chain leading to an elegant heart-shaped central motif, set with natural pearls, old European-cut diamonds, and rose-cut diamonds. The pearls are arranged in a floral cluster within the heart-shaped frame. From the centre descends an articulated drop set with additional old-cut diamonds, leading to a charming pear-shaped pendant element similarly decorated with natural pearls and diamonds.
The necklace is 43.5cm long and the drop is 6cm long
