Georgian Cut Steel Necklace

A particularly pretty and sparkling cut steel necklace, dating to around 1830. The design features flower-like clusters interspersed with cut steel circles, each adorned with grape-like drops that add graceful movement and texture. Measuring 35.5 cm in length, the necklace includes 3.1 cm articulated drops and fastens with a concealed clasp hidden behind a larger cut steel cluster at the back. The reverse is gilded, which typical of fine cut steel work from this period.
