Green Paste Earrings

A beautiful pair of Georgian green and colourless paste earrings dating to circa 1800, set in silver and gold with foil-backed stones. The two central green pastes display a rich, saturated colour, complemented by the surrounding colourless pastes for a striking contrast. The stones remain in excellent condition, retaining their colour and brilliance. The earrings have been fitted with later 9ct gold post and scroll fittings.
The earrings measure 3cm x 1.15cm at the widest point.
