Single Stone Opal Ring

A single stone opal ring in 18ct gold, circa 1900, set to a trifurcated shank. The opal measures approximately 2.35 carats, and is claw set displaying a beautiful play of colour across the surface. The yellow gold setting features a split shank design that tapers towards the shoulders, forming a leaf-like motif on each side of the stone.
