Victorian Mizpah Ring

A Victorian Mizpah ring set with a central old mine cut diamond inside a heart with a star engraved setting, the words "MIZPAH" bisecting it on either side. Mizpah is Hebrew for watchtower and was used extensively during the Victorian period to denote a bond between people who have been separated. This piece is set in 18ct gold and is hallmarked Birmingham 1867, makers mark JT. It is a beautiful token of love and affection. Handcrafted in 1867.
