A truly spectacular Victorian 15ct gold citrine rivière. This is just the most wonderful piece with ctrines that flow around the neck like a river of stones, hence the French term “Riviere”. The 26 rectangular graduated citrines are set in rub-over settings to a concealed clasp. This is a rare piece that is becoming harder to find, especially with such large stones compared to similar rivières of the era. Circa 1840-60  

Measurements: 42 cm long, the central citrine measures 20mm x 17mm
