Diamond Rock Crystal Brooch

The sweetest old mine cut diamond and rock crystal brooch set in 15ct gold and silver with a fragment of petit point embroidery in the centre depicting a rose with a surround of leaves and forget me not flowers. The brooch is engraved with a later 15ct mark on the reverse and the date 'Sept 28th 1865'. Set with approximately 1.2 carats of old mine cut diamonds in total. The central rock crystal has a bevelled edge and a flat centre which magnifies the central embroidery.
