Early Victorian Pink Topaz Ring

A lovely mid-19th century five-stone ring set with graduated pink topazes in a warm 15ct gold mount. The central stone measures approximately 7 x 5mm and is estimated at around 1.00 carat. It is flanked by two stones of approximately 0.80 carats each, with the outermost stones weighing around 0.52 carats each, giving a total estimated gemstone weight of approximately 3.65 carats. The pink topazes are well matched in colour and clarity, displaying a soft, romantic hue.
The ring has a total weight of 3.2 grams.
This piece has been professionally re-sized, and there is a small area of wear to the setting edge between the last two stones on one side, visible only under magnification (loupe).
