Edwardian Amethyst and Paste Necklace

A striking amethyst pendant, featuring a colourless paste surmount, set in a combination of silver and gold, and suspended from a 9ct gold chain, circa 1910. The chain is 43cm long, the drop is 5cm long which includes the 2cm diameter amethyst. The rich purple hue of the amethyst is beautifully complemented by the sparkling paste detail, creating a piece that exudes vintage elegance and timeless charm. In the original box by A. Marx & Co, 121 Regent Street.
