Georgian Blue Enamel and Diamond Ring

A beautifully delicate Georgian ring, dating to around 1800, featuring a circular head with deep royal blue enamel. At its centre sits an old mine cut diamond, surrounded by a halo of tiny diamonds set like stars. The head of the ring is supported by a finely ribbed basket back, and the shank is particularly attractive, trifurcated at the shoulders and centred with a lotus flower motif.
There is light wear to the back of the shank, likely from being worn alongside another ring, consistent with its age and history.
