A pair of 18ct gold ear clips by Kutchinsky, London, 1972, each of sculptural twisted hoop form, composed of closely ribbed, spiralling strands that create a bold, textured surface. The clips are signed Kutchinsky and bear full UK hallmarks for 18-carat gold, London assay office, with date letter for 1972. Fitted with hinged clip-back fastenings for non-pierced ears.
Length approximately 29mm.
Designed during Kutchinsky’s celebrated late-modernist period, the ear clips exemplify the firm’s mastery of volume, movement, and goldwork.
