Plus Que Charm

A charming French 18ct gold pendant by Augis, dating to circa 1910, engraved with the celebrated romantic motto “Plus qu’hier, moins que demain” and set with tiny diamonds and synthetic rubies. The pendant is marked AA Déposé and features a decorative laurel wreath border. The inscription translates as “More than yesterday, less than tomorrow”, expressing a love that grows stronger with each passing day. The motto was inspired by Rosemonde Gérard’s poem Les Vieux, written as a tribute to enduring love. The chain shown in the photograph is not included.
The pendant measures 2.5cm.
It weighs 3.4 grams.
