A delightful millefiori 14ct gold ball pendant, circa 1870, featuring intricate royal blue and pale blue enamel flowers with delicate gold ball centres, all clustered together to form a charming spherical design. This piece may have originally been crafted from a hat pin. Although there are a few tiny spots of enamel loss, they in no way diminish the overall beauty and charm of this lovely pendant. Millefiori is a glasswork technique which produces distinctive decorative patterns on glassware.
