Reference: GS4725

A lovely green guilloché enamel lily pad necklace designed by Finn Jensen for David Anderson set in silver gilt circa 1950-60, each leaf marked on the back "Norway Sterling 925 with a triangle". The triangle was the personal stamp of Finn Jensen. Each leaf is beautifully made with vein detailing and a slight curve to mimic the actual waterlily leaf. The clasp is a silver gilt bolt ring.

Finn Jensen was a Norwegian gold and silversmith who was active from the 1940s. Initially apprenticed to J. Tostrup he then became a a licensed goldsmith and opened a company which was named Jensen and Aamodt. In 1953 Jensen became the sole proprietor and the company was renamed Finn Jensen. The workshop continued after his death in 1976.

The necklace is 40cm long with each leaf 2.25cm x 1.8cm at the longest and widest point.
