Edwardian Child & Child Heart Brooch

A 15ct gold heart-shaped brooch set with demantoid garnets and natural pearls, signed with the Child & Child monogram to the reverse. The openwork heart design is simply detailed, with the bright green garnets providing contrast to the soft lustre of the pearls.
Child & Child were respected London jewellers known for well-made, tasteful designs, and signed examples are sought after. The brooch is offered in its original fitted heart-shaped box, adding to its appeal as a complete and well-preserved piece.
