This striking Edwardian crown brooch/pendant combines the elegance of old mine cut diamonds with the natural beauty of pearls. Set in platinum and 18ct gold, the piece features approximately 3.5 carats of diamonds, graded H/I color and VS2-SI1 clarity, ensuring a brilliant and captivating sparkle. The design showcases a three-dimensional arrangement of three diamond-set fleur-de-lys, each interspersed with lustrous natural pearls, creating a harmonious and sophisticated pattern. The brooch’s versatility is enhanced by a later-added pin, which can be easily removed if preferred, allowing the piece to be worn as a pendant instead. The pendant loop is discreetly hidden behind the central fleur-de-lys, maintaining the design’s seamless appearance. Circa 1910.
