Garnet Pearl Suite

The most charming Georgian 18ct gold flat cut garnet and natural half pearl foil backed suite consisting of a ring, earrings and a brooch, circa 1760-80. The ring has a central flat cut garnet with a diamond shape cluster of natural seed pearls on either side of a ribbed shank, ring size N. The head of the ring is 6mm north to south. The lace brooch is a similar design but with a diamond shape of 8 natural pearls surrounding a slightly larger oval flat cut garnet than the ring, 1.7cm x 8mm. The earrings are the same as the ring, the wires on the back have been altered to plain shepherds hooks from back to front fittings and they have the original fitting for the hook so some drop pearls could be added if desired. They are 1.5cm x 6mm. Really delicate and pretty.
