Pearl and Diamond Pendant / Brooch

An exquisite 18ct gold and natural pearl circular pendant, preserved in its original retailer’s box from Edward Bright of Brighton. This versatile piece is designed to be worn as either a pendant or a brooch, featuring both a removable brooch fitting and a detachable pendant loop, with an integral hinged bale that folds neatly when not in use. The pendant is composed of two concentric rows of natural pearls, each delicately highlighted with rose-cut diamonds that add subtle sparkle and depth. At the centre sits an old mine-cut diamond of approximately 0.25 carats. Circa 1870.
