Sri Lankan sapphire and diamond ring in 18ct gold and platinum, circa 1970. The claw-set oval sapphire, weighing approximately 0.95 carats, is complemented by surrounding diamonds finely millegrain-set in platinum. The diamonds are estimated to weigh approximately 1.00 carat in total, of SI clarity and H colour. The sapphire has been heat treated.
