Victorian Peridot and Diamond Pendant

This is a really cool pendant from the Victorian era. At its centre is a vibrant peridot, weighing approximately 3.75 carats, set in a classic rub over setting. Suspended above it is a 0.35 carat old mine cut diamond, also in a rub over setting. The diamond is graded H colour, SI2 clarity. This piece is crafted in a combination of silver and 18ct gold. The loop is a later addition, making the pendant ready to wear on a chain. Circa 1840-60.
The pendant measures 2.5cm x 12mm at the widest point.
