19th Century Pavé Set Heart Locket

A stunning nineteenth-century Swedish 18ct gold locket, circa 1870, pavé-set with old mine cut diamonds. The back of the locket features a striking black enamel cartouche pattern, adding to its refined charm. The bale is marked with the iconic three crowns for Sweden, the maker’s mark LL&C, and the crowned G for Göteborg, signifying its Swedish origin. The diamonds, with a total weight of 1.80 carats, are mostly of VS clarity, with two stones graded SI, and have a J/K colour. This is an exquisite piece.
Measurements: 2.5cm high including the bale by 1.55cm wide.
