Edwardian Paste and Silver Drop Earrings

A very wearable and elegant pair of paste and silver drop earrings, dating to circa 1910. These charming earrings feature hand-cut paste stones set in silver with traditional foil-backed settings, designed to enhance their brilliance. The design showcases a lozenge-shaped drop, centred by a kite-shaped paste stone, which catches the light beautifully. This is suspended from a three-stone inverted oval cluster at the top.
Each earring is suspended from a gold shepherd’s hook and measures 5.2cm in length, including the hook, and 1.4cm at the widest point.
