Georgian Ruby and Rock Crystal Locket

A charming Georgian locket, crafted in rich 18ct gold and dating to circa 1780. Set with four oval-shaped rubies arranged in a graceful cluster above an oval rock crystal compartment. The locket features finely engraved detailing along the sides.
Please note, as this locket has no visible hinge, opening it to insert a photograph or shaker stones would require the expertise of a skilled goldsmith. We would be happy to arrange this service for you.
The locket is 2.9cm high x 1.6cm wide at the widest point and has a pretty double loop at the top
