A charming white and green enamel Victorian 18ct gold locket depicting Edelweiss flowers, circa 1870. The Edelweiss flower symbolises devotion, true love, strength and bravery. They live in wild Alpine conditions and yet they manage to thrive. There is a very small dent on the back of the locket, otherwise the condition is excellent.
Measurements: 2cm in diameter and 2.8cm high including the pendant loop
