A charming Victorian micro-mosaic ring, crafted in 15ct gold and dating from circa 1860. The square panel depicts a swan swimming gracefully among reeds and foliage, rendered in finely cut glass tesserae characteristic of mid-19th-century Italian micro-mosaic work. The gold shank is bifurcated and ornamented with shell motifs and applied gold beads, adding rich textural detail. The ring has tested as 15ct gold.
