17th-century angel/cherub fine 18ct gold pendant depicting two enamelled cherubs standing beside a gilded cross the frame is set with garnets and enamel. Set beneath a bevelled rock crystal. It was believed that cherubs carried the cross to heaven after Christ was crucified. Circa 1640-80
