Ben Rosenfeld Gold and Diamond Necklace / Bracelets

This is a remarkable convertible piece designed by Ben Rosenfeld that functions both as a necklace or as four separate bracelets. The design is made up of large, oval-shaped links that connect to form a continuous chain. Each link is textured with a detailed surface pattern, giving it a rough, almost bark like appearance. The links are crafted in 18ct yellow gold, set with diamonds in a row across each connecting segment.
Each of the four bracelet segments has a hidden clasp, allowing them to be worn individually or connected together to form the full necklace. The design also allows for one bracelet to be worn whilst the other 3 links form a shorter necklace. This necklace is hallmarked for London 1979.
Ben Rosenfeld was a British jewellery designer active during the mid-20th century, particularly known for his work in the 1960s and 1970s. He specialised in bold, textured gold pieces often accented with diamonds or coloured gemstones.
The length is 73cm, with one bracelet removed 56.5 cm and with two bracelets removed 37cm.
The diamonds are approximately G-H colour, VS-SI clarity
