A striking and sculptural French Belle Époque / Art Nouveau ring, crafted in 18ct gold and platinum. The design centres on a finely modelled lion's head, symbolising strength and nobility, with an old mine-cut diamond set prominently within its mouth. The ring bears a French owl import mark to the exterior of the shank together with the antique French platinum hallmark depicting a bearded man's head, confirming the use of platinum in the setting. The central old mine-cut diamond weighs approximately 0.60 carats and exhibits a warm antique charm, assessed as M/N colour and I2 clarity.
