Victorian Old European Cut Diamond Gypsy Ring

A fine Victorian diamond gypsy ring crafted in 18ct gold and hallmarked for Birmingham, 1853. The ring is set with three Old European cut diamonds totalling approximately 1.27 carats, comprising a central stone of approximately 0.74 carats, flanked by diamonds of approximately 0.29 and 0.24 carats. The diamonds are assessed as K–L colour with SI clarity. Substantial and beautifully proportioned, the ring weighs approximately 6.1 grams and is a classic example of mid-19th-century English craftsmanship.
