The design is formed as an intertwined lover’s knot, pavé-set with vibrant turquoise cabochons graduating subtly in size. The knot - long regarded as a symbol of enduring love, fidelity, and eternal connection - was a popular and deeply sentimental motif in Victorian jewellery.
