Amazing 1920s platinum and 18 carat gold transition cut diamond stud earrings in a circular mount.
With the new technology of the 1920s an effort began to create a standardised round cut diamond. The old European diamond began to "transition" to the transitional cut diamond. This type of cut is often seen in jewellery from the 1920s to the 1940s.
1.8 carats diamonds in total, lovely bright white stones, approximate colour H-J and VS2. The diamond studs are 90 points each and the overall size is 1.05 cms
