An exceptional Art Deco platinum, diamond and onyx cross pendant, circa 1920. Of classic cross form, set with a series of old European-cut diamonds within a finely crafted platinum mount, bordered by sleek black onyx inlay. The pendant is further enhanced by a diamond-set suspension loop and retains a crisp, well-defined appearance, indicative of its excellent condition. The diamonds are estimated to weigh approximately 1.65 carats in total, of H–I colour and VS–SI clarity. A sophisticated and timeless example of Art Deco jewellery design.
