Georgian Garnet Necklace

A beautiful example of Georgian-era craftsmanship, this necklace features flat-cut garnets with foil backing, arranged in a graceful leaf-shaped design. Three oval, flower-shaped clusters form the focal point at the front, complemented by a matching cluster that cleverly conceals the clasp.
Set entirely in 18ct gold, the necklace includes a safety chain at the back for added security. Dating from circa 1800 to 1820, it reflects the refined elegance and attention to detail characteristic of late Georgian jewellery.
The necklace is 40cm long and the central cluster measures 3.2cm x 2cm.
