James Cromer Watt Pendant

A striking sea-themed 18ct gold enamel necklace by James Cromar Watt, made circa 1900–1910. Two enamelled mythical sea dragons frame a central rectangular plaque, which is suspended above a natural pearl drop. Each dragon features a large blister pearl at its centre and gold and pearl drops beneath. The side chains are crafted from 18ct gold and natural pearls.
The pendant section measures 8.5cm high by 3.1cm wide at its widest point, and the total chain length is 69cm.
