A rare late 17th to early 18th century gold and topaz ring. Centring on a glowing pale golden topaz, its square form with cut corners reflecting the elegant design of the Stuart era, the foiled-back stone is set in a reeded gold mount. Presented in an antique box. Circa 1680–1720.
