This Victorian 18ct gold pendant features a faceted amethyst heart, set with a crown surmount that holds demantoid garnets, rubies, and natural pearls on both sides. The deep purple amethyst is beautifully cut to highlight its color, while the crown setting adds an elegant touch with its mix of gemstones. The pendant hangs from a 9ct gold Victorian chain, 39 cm in length, and is marked "9ct" on the barrel clasp, confirming its authenticity. Dating from around 1870, this piece is a classic example of Victorian craftsmanship, combining rich colour with fine detailing.
