Victorian Collet Set Old Mine Cut Diamond Drop Earrings

A pair of Victorian diamond drop earrings, dating to circa 1860–1870. The earrings are set in the traditional silver-topped gold and feature a charming floral drop design. Each earring is set with old mine cut diamonds, with a combined total weight of approximately one carat. The diamonds are assessed as I/J colour with SI clarity. The central stones are surrounded by a halo of smaller diamonds.
Weight: 5.2 grams.
The earrings are 2.7cm high including the shepherds hooks and the clusters are 1.4cm in diameter.
