Victorian Diamond Star Brooch / Hair Piece

This is a really striking Victorian star brooch that can also convert into a hair piece. Featuring approximately 2.4 carats of old mine cut diamonds, , I/J colour, SI1/2 clarity. This beautiful brooch is presented in its original retailers box for G Merk in Munchen, Germany. The star is set in 18ct gold and silver and the fittings are in gold. Circa 1870.
