Victorian three-colour 18ct gold Mizpah ring with a central heart set with an old mine-cut diamond surrounded by Ivy leaves symbolising eternal love. The hinged front opening reveals a complement spelling Mizpah, hallmarked Birmingham 1890

Mizpah is Hebrew for "watchtower". Over time, "Mizpah" came to represent the emotional bond between people who are separated (by physical distance or by death) and Mizpah rings were exchanged during the 19th century as tokens of love and protection.

Ring Size: N

A beautiful token of love with the romantic hidden 'Mizpah' engraving
