Victorian Sapphire Gypsy Ring

This Victorian ring features a beautifully cut Burmese sapphire in a striking, rich blue hue, mounted within a smooth bezel / gypsy style setting. The sapphire is cushion-shaped. Surrounding the gemstone is a broad 18ct yellow gold band, which has been hand-engraved with subtle textural details. The sapphire measures approximately 85 points. Circa 1870.
