1950s 18ct gold earrings designed by Tanya Ashken. Hammered gold in an open teardrop shape with a solid small teardrop top. Tanya was born in 1939 and now lives in New Zealand where she is a jeweller and a sculptor and designed "Albatross" a 3.5-metre high sculpture on Wellington's waterfront.
