Victorian Emerald and Diamond Ring

A bright and distinctive Victorian twist ring, crafted in 18ct gold and set with a vibrant rectangular Colombian emerald at its centre, weighing approximately 0.50 carats. The emerald is paired with old European cut diamonds, also totalling around 0.50 carats, arranged in a classic crossover design. The diamonds are estimated to be H–J in colour with VS clarity, offering a lovely balance of sparkle and antique character. The twist or "toi et moi" style was popular in the late 19th century, often symbolising two elements coming together, making this a perfect engagement ring. Circa 1880-1900
