Georgian foil-backed multi-gem brooch set with a central amethyst with garnets and chrysolites on either side and an aquamarine, imperial topaz and pink topaz drop. The pin has made a dent in the back of the amethyst setting and the central drop has been re-attached at some point nevertheless this is a glorious piece of jewellery with bright foiling and a beguiling mix of colours. Circa 1800-20
