Georgian Topaz and Chrysoberyl Pendant

A beautiful Georgian pink topaz and chrysoberyl cross pendant, circa 1800–1820, crafted in 18ct gold. The pendant is set with four large foil-backed pink topazes arranged around a central golden chrysoberyl, accented by four further smaller chrysoberyls. The gemstones have an estimated total weight of approximately 8.00 carats of pink topaz and 2.50 carats of chrysoberyl. The traditional foil-backed settings enhance the wonderful soft pink and golden tones of the stones. Finished with a hinged pendant loop; the original brooch fitting has been removed.
